First Time?

What to Expect

Whether this is your first time in an Episcopal church or you've been attending for years, we want you to feel at home. St. Timothy's is a casual church — you'll see a bit of everything on Sunday morning, and it's all welcome.

  • Come as you are — dress ranges from casual to Sunday best

  • Greeters will welcome you and hand you a bulletin

  • The bulletin guides you through the entire service

  • Communion is open to all baptized Christians

  • Children are always welcome in worship

  • Sunday School is available during the 10 AM service

The Beauty of Anglican Worship

Our worship follows the Book of Common Prayer, a liturgy shaped by centuries of Christian practice. Each service follows a rhythm of gathering, hearing God's word, sharing communion, and going forth to serve.

This pattern connects us to the global Anglican Communion and to generations of faithful Christians before us.

Music Ministry

Music at St. Timothy's

Music is an integral part of our worship life. Our choir leads hymns and anthems from the rich tradition of Anglican church music, enriching our services and lifting our hearts in praise.

New Here?

What to Know Before You Visit

We want you to feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

How do I get to St. Timothy's?

Our place of worship is located at 43 West Pacific Ave., Henderson, NV 89015. Major cross streets are Lake Mead Pkwy and Boulder Hwy. We are next to Emerald Island Casino.

Where should I park?

Being a downtown church means parking can sometimes be a challenge. You can park in our parking lot or on the street.

What do people wear?

St. Timothy's is a casual church. You'll see a bit of everything on Sunday morning, and it's all welcome. Wear what makes you feel good and comfortable — God cares about your heart, not your clothes!

Is there food after service?

Yes! After each service, we have Coffee Hour in our Parish Hall, offering refreshments, lite bites and a chance to connect with other members.

Who is Saint Timothy?

St. Timothy was an early Christian evangelist and the first Christian bishop of Ephesus. He became a companion and missionary partner of the Apostle Paul, who consecrated him as Bishop in the year 65. His feast day is celebrated on January 26th.

Is there Sunday School for kids?

Yes! During the 10:00 AM service, we offer a nurturing Sunday School program where children learn about God's love through Bible stories, crafts, songs, and play. Children are always welcome in worship as well.

How can I get involved?

There are many ways to serve! Opportunities include the Choir, Daughters of the King, Healing Prayer Ministry, Altar Guild, Greeters & Ushers, Lectors, Acolytes, and more. Visit our Ministries page or Contact us to find the right fit for you.

Can I watch services online?

Absolutely! Our 10:00 AM Sunday service is livestreamed on YouTube. You can watch live or catch up on past services anytime on our YouTube channel.
