What's Happening
Events
Worship, fellowship, and service — there's always something to be part of at St. Timothy's.
Christianity in the Anglican Context
For those who wish to be baptized, confirmed, or received into the Episcopal Church: Saturday, July 25 and Saturday, August 1, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
Even if you are already baptized and confirmed (or received), our tradition invites you to consider Reaffirmation, in which we petition the Holy Spirit, “who has begun a good work in you, [to] direct and uphold you in the service of Christ and his kingdom.” (BCP, at 419).
The Bishop will visit St. Timothy’s in August to complete this work in our Parish. Contact Father Paul to attend and prepare for baptism, confirmation, reception, or reaffirmation.
Evensong of the Transfiguration

Featuring works by Vaughan Williams, John Sanders, and Craig Phillips.
Choir Director: Dr. Carolyn Rynex. Organist: Dr. Nathan Carterette.

Desert Deanery Meeting
This month St. Timothy's has the joy of hosting the Desert Deanery. Clergy and delegates from our sister Episcopal parishes across southern Nevada will gather with us on August 8th for their regular deanery meeting. They'll be here as our guests — please join us in offering them a warm St. Timothy's welcome.
Blood Drive
St. Timothy’s is sponsoring a blood drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. We need at least 20 donors to make the drive a success. Would you pray about participating in this important work? Participants will receive a St. Tim’s T-shirt, and you can be assured that you have helped to save a life!
Movie Night
St. Tim’s summer movie continues on Wednesday evenings. “The Chosen” is a dramatized version of Christ’s life and ministry. It has been very popular with audiences … and it departs in important ways from the Scriptural record.
Join us next Wednesday. And don’t worry about coming in mid-series — each episode is self-contained AND we’ll catch you up on what you’ve missed!
July 4th Parade in Boulder City
Come one, come all to celebrate 250 years of American Independence! We are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights: that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In pursuit of that happiness, and to celebrate our liberties, St. Timothy’s is entering a float in the Boulder City Damboree Parade for July 4th! Anyone can either ride the float, walk the parade route, or just hang out with others as spectators. We are staging at The El Rancho Motel at 8am to decorate the float and meet up.
The annual 9am Flyover signifies the start of the Parade, which begins on Colorado Street. The Parade ends at Broadbent Park right in front of the Boulder City Swimming Pool, where there will be BC Non-Profit vendors, including games, food, and a beer wagon. Participants can cool off at the pool and dive for cash during the coin toss at 11am at the Boulder City Pool.
